Performance Management (PM / F5)

Measure, manage and improve business performance with advanced costing, planning and control techniques.

About this course

The ACCA Performance Management (PM) course helps students understand how businesses measure, manage and improve performance. It builds on the fundamentals of management accounting and moves into more advanced areas of costing, planning, control and performance evaluation.

Students apply costing and decision-making techniques, prepare and analyse budgets, assess business performance and interpret financial and non-financial information to support effective management decisions.

The course emphasises analytical thinking — evaluating information, explaining findings and making well-supported recommendations rather than simply producing numerical answers.
